Bexley Healthy (+) Ride - O2
Our first Healthy +ride of 2019 is to the O2 in Greenwich via the section of the recently opened Thames Path at Enderby Wharf. This will be the first time we have organised a +ride to the O2,
We set off from Danson Stables car park at 09:30 and exit the St Johns gate and pick up Hook Lane and Sutherland Ave to Falconwood and into Eltham Park South. Following the LCN route to Kidbrooke, we will cross under the A2 and along the path to Sun in the Sands. From there we will be taking the quiet back streets, joining the Thames Path at Enderby Wharf and riding the peninsula, stopping for a short refreshment break at the O2. Then back on our bikes riding along the Thames Path towards the Thames Barrier and along the new raised link and onto Woolwich and Plumstead. Finally we take the quiet back streets to East Wickham Open Space and Welling, reaching back to Danson Park for 1pm.
There are no major hills, just a few slopes. However, we will wait for all riders no one is left behind. Harry leading. 18 miles "All Welcome"
This ride is part of a series of Healthy rides by Bexley Cyclists an LCC local group. https://lcc.org.uk//
