Brent to Wandle Trail Ride
The Brent to Wandsworth section of the ride will follow a bit of the Quietway 2 and LCN 26. Then from the mouth of the River Wandle into the Thames, we'll head south following the Wandle Trail.
As usual, we'll point out interesting cycle infrastructure features en route.
Includes a brief coffee stop. And we'll stop at Merton Abbey Mills for lunch where you can also visit the Wheelhouse, the only watermill in the country directly driven by water power.
We'll ride at a relaxed pace, totalling approx 20 miles. Suitable for all abilities and all types of bicycle.
We'll return by train from East Croydon.
A Wandle Trail leaflet (pdf) https://www.merton.gov.uk/assets/Documents/wandle_trail-4.pdf includes a map and attractions on the route.
