Celebrating Prominent Women of Hammersmith and Fulham. A History Bike Tour.
This is an easy-going bicycle ride for all, families with children are welcome.
Meet from 9:50 am for a 10 am departure from Brook Green, W6 7BD beside the tennis courts. This is a short ride of 4 miles via quiet streets in Hammersmith. We will be cycling at a leisurely slow pace, approximately 5-7 m/h. Route: https://www.komoot.com/tour/1483190925
Please join us in paying tribute to the women who have helped shape Hammersmith & Fulham as we mark Women’s History Month. We would like to invite you to a special free group bike ride around the Hammersmith borough. We are celebrating prominent women who lived in Hammersmith. This is a short ride full of history and facts. Come and learn about some of the many women who came before us and the women who made and make our borough an amazing place to live, work, and visit today.
This ride is a collaboration between Hammersmith and Fulham Council and Hammersmith & Fulham Cycling. This ride is part of the “Celebrating Women in H&F” events in March.
We expect to be back at Brook Green at about 12:30-13:00.
