Come blackberrying and picnicing !

An easy-paced family ride of about 20km starting at 1300 at Islington Town Hall and following quiet routes though London Fields, Victoria Park and onto the Greenway to reach the River Lee Navigation with its many blackberry bushes.  And this year, we have high hopes that there will be lots of berries to pick ! 

We will then find a picnic spot on Walthamstow/Hackney Marshes before picking up our route home to the Town Hall, with an eta of about 1630.  Great route for families – bring your empty tupperware boxes to fill with fruit,  your picnic, water and sunscreen as we’re hoping for a nice sunny afternoon.

The ride is led and marshalled by trained volunteers but parents and carers remain responsible for their own families.
