A Croydon loop lunching in Balham, back via Furzedown. 18 miles. We have ridden past Balham several times before and lunched there once. This route doesn’t have lengthy digressions for their own sake but there are some brief variations from previous routes for the sake of novelty.
Start in Queens Gardens CR0 1GY at 10am. Return by 2:00 – 2:30pm latest. This easy route is all on solid surface apart from ½ mile on Beddington Farmlands gravel path. That might be tricky on the narrowest road tyres.
Please bring a spare inner tube. Croydon Social Cycling rides are for adults only.
