This webinar is for NHS workers considering to cycle more and also for NHS workers thinking of volunteering as a helper buddy.

Do you work in or for the NHS? Do you want to cycle more? Perhaps to build confidence on the bike and on the road, or to ride a journey like the route to college or work. On our regular call for new and returning cyclists we give tips, offer advice and answer questions. Some of our cycle buddies are on hand to tell their stories of starting out or helping others to cycle more.

Or are you an experienced and confident rider and would like to help others and have either signed up to be a Cycle Buddy or are considering to do so?

In this webinar we’ll cover the main aspects of being a cycle buddy and what is expected. The webinars are every week and only last 30 minutes. After the webinar there is the opportunity to stay on the call and ask any questions as well.

We will cover:

  • what is expected from a cycle buddy
  • what training is available
  • personal safety
  • what resources are available to help
  • who to contact
  • your cycle buddies profile
  • case studies

There is a webinar for NHS workers every Thursday lunchtime.
