Cycle Islington AGM and Quiz and raffle

If you are an LCC member living in Islington, you are automatically a member of Cycle Islington and can vote at our 2024 AGM. We always need volunteers to help and to give fresh inspiration to our campaigns.

After the AGM, we thought that a quiz would be fun and our quiz master, John, is busy compiling some questions to baffle us – they won’t all be cycling related either ! He’s talking about a music round, a general knowledge round, and something about food.

We welcome everyone to the quiz following the formal proceedings; come with some pals and make up a team of 6 or come on your own and join a table ! Entry fee for the Quiz is £5 per person (payable on the door).

There will be a raffle with some really fab prizes, lots of food (samosas, naturally, that’s a tradition for us) and drinks and all proceeds will go to campaigning for better cycling provision in Islington.

Doors open at 1900, AGM starts promptly at 1930. Capacity is limited, so please register early to avoid disappointment. Venue: (in the Forgotten North): Upper Hocking Hall, Whittington Park Community Centre, 84 Yerbury Road, London, N19 4RS.

There will be a free drink and some food for those attending the AGM and a pay bar and more food (close to cost price) for the rest of the evening.

This should be a memorable occasion and a chance to meet other like-minded folk. We look forward to seeing you there.
