Cycling to Amsterdam Q & A | Online event

Every year, we organise a long, leisurely ride from London to Amsterdam over 7–9 days. Join the conversation to hear from former riders
This is a chance to ask questions about our annual London to Amsterdam ride. Here you’ll find the full details, including dates and how to register.
This online meeting is for anyone considering joining the ride and who has questions, for all new riders who have signed up, and for past participants who will be joining us again this year.
Can’t make it this year because of other commitments? That’s no problem—join the meeting, ask any questions you have, and make sure you save the date for 2027. We’ve already confirmed the 2027 dates.
– resentation by the bike ride organisers
Nick Moffitt is one of the two original riders who established this annual ride. Nick is the only rider to complete all 8 rides from 2016 to 2025. Who can tell you more about the history of this ride?
– Registration, Cost, Accommodation
Casey will cover: cost, accommodation, and deadline for registration. Can I join from Dover? Can I join only for 3-4 days?
– Cycling and Sightseeing, all in one.
Is it just cycling from A to B? Will we visit any interesting places? Lorne & Peri will tell you about some of the interesting locations we visited over the last few years.
– Carry what you pack, pack what you carry.
Packing and getting ready for a 9-day ride is very important. Most of us got it wrong the first time, even when we were told what to bring. Overpacking is the most common mistake for 1st time riders.
– Q & A
Do you have a question about the ride? This is a chance to ask questions and hear from former ride participants. Some of them have done it 4-5 times; I am sure they have a lot to say about this ride.
