January 7 @ 9:45 am

Meet from 9:45am for a 10am departure from Ealing Town Hall.

Get the blood flowing for the New Year. A 38km/24 miles ride, mainly flat with two hills and some slopes.

We cross the Thames at Chiswick Bridge to enter Richmond Park at the Sheen Gate. We cross the Park to leave by the Robin Hood Gate, then follow the edge of Wimbledon Common beside Beverley Brook, riding past New Malden Station and Berrylands Station to reach Kingston for lunch. There are many cafes, pubs & shops here or you can bring your own picnic.

After lunch, we ride on through Bushy Park, then turn for home, passing Strawberry Hill Station and Twickenham Station on our way back to the river. We continue through old Isleworth and Syon Park, back to Ealing.

Bring locks for the lunch stop in Kingston. Remember to bring lights as it will be dusk when we return around 4 pm.
