Greensted Church Ride

We will meet at Leytonstone Tube Station (in front of Le Parisien cafe) where we will take the tube to Epping.
Our route will take us along rolling Essex lanes via North Weald station to Greensted Church – the oldest wooden church in the world.
After a lunch stop, we will return to Epping for the tube back to Leytonstone.
Distance: 35km approx
Difficulty: moderate
Please bring a drink, a snack, a spare inner tube for your bike if you have one, and money for any refreshments you wish to buy.
Newham Cyclists will come equipped to cope with minor running repairs such as punctures and brake adjustments.
Please book to guarantee a place. If you have not booked by the day of the ride, please come to the start point to see if there are places available.
