Greenwich Borders ride

Saturday 31st May- meet10.00 amatGeneral Wolfe Statue, Greenwich Park(note the start time and venue) .
Join Greenwich Cyclists this coming Saturday for the Greenwich Borders ride, a tour around the extensive boundaries and diverse landscapes of Greenwich borough. Around 25 miles in total (estimate), but there are plenty of railway stations en route (New Eltham, Falconwood, Abbey Wood, to name a few) for those who want to finish early. We'll pass through surprisingly rural parts of Mottingham, a succession of parks (brunch stop is at Avery Hill Park), seeing woodland and cemeteries along the way, the remains of an ancient abbey, iconic tower blocks surrounding a lake where horses graze, and finally a few miles of riverside, returning to Cutty Sark then Greenwich Park at the end. Mostly quiet roads or off-road, suitable for all bikes and paced for all.Gareth 07533-564971. Let me know if you have questions, otherwise feel free to just turn up on the day.
