Harrow Wheelers – March Wonders of Spring: A Guided Nature Bike Ride
Feast your eyes on the wonders of spring with our Friends at Headstone Manor Park.
What better way to see the first flowers in bloom, glimpse animals coming out of hibernation and spot wildlife in the reedbeds than by bike! Feel the wind in your hair as our Friends guide you through and point out all the wonderful things volunteers at the park have been up to to support greater biodiversity and flood alleviation that benefit the wider community.
We will meet at the Moat Cafe to register you in and proceed to bike checks before embarking on a 2.5km bike ride round the park, while we stop off at a few areas of interest.
All ages welcome; children must be accompanied by an adult, competent at riding and bring a helmet and a bike lock for when bike is not in use. Please arrive 15 min early to allow time to register; there is ample parking on site.

Harrow Wheelers is a monthly programme set up by Harrow Cycle Hub and Harrow Cyclists, covering bike maintenance, skills training, led rides and fun cultural events to get families ready for the cycling revolution!
We focus on different aspects of cycling each month to develop basic cycle skills, teach cycle maintenance, demonstrate the joy that cycling can bring to your life as well as the practicality it delivers over more conventional forms of travel – all overseen by experienced cycling volunteers, at various, accessible sites within central Harrow.
Although designed to be child friendly, parents and guardians are encouraged to participate and may find they have much to learn too. All riders must be competent and bring their own bike (balance bikes welcome), trike or scooter. Where that is not possible, bikes can be made available, as well as adapted bikes for disabled children, with advance notice.
We will be taking photos and videos of the events for use in publicity, in a responsible and respectful way. Please speak to the session leader if you have any concerns about this.
