IBikeLondon City Farms Ride

♫ Old MacDonald had a farm, C-Y-C-L-E ♫That’s right folks, we are organizing a bike ride to visit the city farms of London.Join us for a fun bike ride, taking place in London on Saturday 2nd July. The route covers 30kms, starting at Regent’s Park, stopping by 7 different city farms on the way and ending in Rotherhithe.We hope to see as many different farm animals…. on the bikes! So come dressed as a farm animal of your choice and join in for a full day of cycling fun.---------------------ABOUT THE RIDE:Meeting at: 11.00am / Starting at: 11.30pm – Regent’s Park, junction of Inner Circle and York Bridge (NW1)Ending at: The Angel, Rotherhithe (SE16 4NB)Route:www.mapmyride.com/routes/fullscreen/474525492Spec: On road, mostly flatDistance: 30kms / 18milesFarms we will visit: Kentish Town, Freighliners, Hackney, Stepney Green, Spitalfields, Mudchute, Surrey Dock---------------------JOINING THE EVENT: This is a free ride and everyone can join, you do not need to register. So invite all your friends! To turn up the heat, we whole-heartedly encourage you to dress up (animal/ farm theme). Please note that we do not provide the bikes.SAFETY: During the ride we will be riding on the road with vehicular traffic. We encourage everyone to ride safely as you will be responsible for your own safety and we are not responsible for any injuries or accidents during the ride. For your safety we recommend wearing a helmet, but you are free not to.CHECK YOUR BIKE: Please make sure your bike is in good condition and you check your brakes and tyres.
