IBikeLondon Halloween Night Ride

Get out your vampire teeth and put on your scariest outfit to celebrate Halloween with IBikeLondon! For the occasion, we are organising another one of our social events on Saturday 2nd November. This will be a fast, fun and spooky 23 mile ride crossing 15 bridges between Tower Bridge and Hammersmith Bridge. We will be meeting at 7pm next to City Hall by Tower Bridge (The Queen's Walk, SE1 2AA) and will leave at 7:30pm (the nearest tube is London Bridge). The ride is relatively fast and involves riding on roads so this event suits more experienced cyclists.

The first part of the route will feature some of London’s famous sights including Tower Bridge, St Paul’s Cathedral, Westminster and many more.
We will have a half way break at McDonald's off Swandon Way (1 Marl Road, SW18 1JT).
The second half of the ride will pass through Hammersmith, Kensington High Street, Hyde Park, Westminster and finally arriving in central London around 11-11.30pm.
For those of you who want to party on, we will ride over to the Southbank skate park for a post-ride beer and disco!

We have a disco bike with a steam machine and three music bikes pumping out tunes to enjoy along the way. If you have your own sound system, bring it along!
Decorate your bikes with Monkey Lectric lights, Christmas decorations, and glow sticks, anything you can get your hands on!
Certain sections of the Thames Path ride will be pitch black so unless you feel like riding into a tree make sure you have front lights.
Don’t forget to bring water and food to keep you going.
And finally… We want to see you all dressed up in your scariest Halloween costume and make-up!

JOINING THE EVENT: This is a free ride and everyone can join, you do not need to register. So invite all your friends!

We do not provide the bikes. SAFETY: During the ride we will often be riding on the road with vehicular traffic. We encourage everyone to ride safely as you will be responsible for your own safety and we are not responsible for any injuries or accidents during the ride. For your safety we recommend wearing a helmet, but you are free not to. CHECK YOUR BIKE: Please make sure your bike is in good condition and you check your brakes and tyres. If you have a mechanical problem or flat during the ride we will try to help you.
