IBikeLondon Summer Ride

To celebrate summer, IBikeLondon is organising another one of its social events on Sunday 18th August. Join us for a short bike ride in East London along the Thameswhich will end with a picnic all together in a park on the bankside. This summer edition will feature two music bikes so prepare to rave!

We will be meeting in front of the City Hall (The Queen’s Walk, SE1 2AA) at 10:30am (the nearest tube is London Bridge) with the aim to start the ride at 11:00am. The ride will be flat and covers a distance of 12 miles (21km).

After departing from City Hall we will head to the peace of Southwark and Deptford. We will go through Greenwich and its park before crossing the river using the Greenwich Foot Tunnel. We will then cycle along the Thames through Canary Wharf and Wapping.
The ride will end on the bankside in the lovely Hermitage Riverside Memorial Garden. We want to do a giant picnic with everyone, so bring food, drink and whatever you fancy!

Things to know: Everyone can join. You do not need to register. We do not provide the bikes. For your safety we recommend wearing a helmet, but you’re free not to. We are careful on the road, we pause at stop signs and lights and try not to disturb other road users. We will provide mechanical assistance if needed.
