Influencing active travel outcomes with Christian Wolmar and Leo Murray

Technical discussions on dropped kerbs or route widths or parallel crossings are on hold for our last meeting of the year;  our Christmas social is a gift to all campaigners !

We’ve invited two fabulous speakers to discuss their successful analyses and persuasion techniques which influenced the outcomes they wanted in various campaigns. Come and hear these two seasoned active travel and political professionals talk about their extensive experience in innovative and successful campaigning.

• Christian  specialises in transport and is a writer of over 20 books, a broadcaster and podcaster (https://markwalkerg.podbean.com/ Calling All Stations).
• Leo is an energy and transport decarbonisation specialist, co-founder and director of innovation at climate change charity Possible and co-founder of Riding Sunbeams (https://www.ridingsunbeams.org/).

We’ve organised some mince pies to aid discussions and participants will have ample opportunity to ask questions, and maybe even challenge, our speakers.  Afterwards, we will head over the road for an alcoholic or non-alcoholic drink in our local pub.
