Islington Festival of Cycling afternoon Group Ride
As part of the London Cycling Campaign Festival of Cycling, we shall be organising a Marshalled Group Ride in the afternoon, leaving from the top of Highbury fields,
where we shall be holding other events all day (https://cycleislington.uk/2025/islington-festival-of-cycling-sunday-25-may-at-highbury-fields/)
We shall leave Highbury Fields at 13:00, meeting with a group from Camden, who have a feeder ride from Swiss Cottage, and Joy Riders at Archway. ( in the cul-de sac (Giesbach Road), just behind the South bound Holloway Rd bus bypass)
Leaving at 13:25 for Markfield Park, where we shall meet the Haringey group, stopping at the Steam Museum, for refreshments and to see the beam engine in action.
At approx 15:00 we shall return to Highbury Fields via the Lea Valley, and Hackney Downs, arriving back at approx 16:00
The Route is an easy 16Km, suitable for (accompanied) over 16s,
