Lewisham Cyclists Community Bike Workshop
Does your bike need some TLC? Or would you like to learn how to take care of your ride yourself? Or maybe do both at the same time? Our Second Sunday community bike workshop is for you! It’s first come first served, so the earlier you arrive, the more likely are to get your bike sorted. After 1.30pm we only accept very quick fixes! So best to get there early.
We will take a look at it in the Scout Hut yard and if we think we can help, will take your contact details and hand the bike to our mechanics inside. Or, if you prefer to work on your bike with the mechanic to learn a bit more about looking after it, email us before this Friday, telling us what you want to learn, or what the problem is, take a photo, of it if you can, and we will get back to you with a time to come down and meet a mechanic. All our mechanics will do as much as they can to get your ride safe and rideable again, or will give you advice about what to do if that’s not possible on the day.

We operate a pay it forward ethos, so rely on those who may have a bit more cash to spare than others to drop a bit extra into the donation pot so that we can help this in our community who struggle to make ends meet. We also have decent quality, safe secondhand parts if payment is really difficult for folk. Our aim is to get you back riding your bike!
