Lewisham Cyclists London Explorer to Lesnes Abbey

A 15 to 20 mile ride from Ladywell to Lesnes Abbey and back. Leaving from near Ladywell Station promptly at 10. I’ll be having a coffe in Le Delice cafe on the corner of Ladywell Rd from 9.30am. Join me then if you want to do the same. Easy paced social ride suitable for most riders. We go at the pace of the slowest, using quiet roads, parks and cycle paths. Any busier areas of traffic, we will look after anyone who is new to busy traffic. There are a couple of short steeper areas but it’s perfectly possible to dismount and walk up if needed. There are also some short sections through woodland where riders may have to dismount and walk. Do contact the ride leader if you feel this might be an issue for you and your choice of cycle: we aim to make our rides as accessible as possible and it may be possible to provide support or a more accessible detour.
There will be a coffee stop and a return along the Thames path.
