Lewisham Cyclists South East London Parks Ride

An easy paced ride with a tea stop visiting a number of parks across SE London (and just dipping into the southwest) including Hilly Fields, Peckham Rye, Dulwich Park, Brockwell Park, Clapham Common, Myatts Fields, Kennington Park, Burgess Park, Southwark Park, Deptford Park and more. About 20 easy paced miles on mostly quiet back streets but crossing some busier junctions occasionally. Suitable for all riders and bikes except full on road bikes with road cleats as a little of the route involves gravelly paths which may clog a cleat. Also BMX bikes not the best for an urban ride like this unless you’re very fit! Otherwise any cycle will be fine. We’d call this an easy to medium ride in terms of difficulty.
