Lewisham Cyclists Winter Afternoon London Explorer Ride (Christmas Lights)

An easy paced ride of around 20 miles starting at 2.30pm from Le Delice in Ladywell. We will head into central London via Peckham and pootle around a few areas famous for their Christmas lights. Heading north over Waterloo Bridge to the Strand, Regent St, Bond St, then head west to Knightsbridge and Chelsea before heading back south via Vauxhall Bridge.
We will have a short refreshment break halfway.
Bear in mind it’s winter so make sure you’ve enough layers to keep yourself warm. We won’t be riding fast enough to keep warm that way! You’ll need lights too.
Ride suitable for all abilities. However, while we will keep to cycle paths and quiet streets as much as we can, the nature of the ride means we will be on busy roads at some points. If you’re not used to this kind of riding, don’t worry, those of us who are will look after the whole group.
