Newham “Cake Mountain” Ride

Join us for a ride up the the Lea valley, through Epping Forest to the the historic St Thomas’ Church, Upshire, where Sunday afternoon tea is available every 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month.
Pictured are the cakes available on a previous ride. Cycling, cake – what’s not to like?
This is a 40 mile round trip, mostly off road, with an option to take a train from Waltham Cross to Liverpool St, for those that would prefer not to ride back. Do bring a packed lunch, as we will eat in the churchyard if the weather permits.
Newham Cyclists will come equipped to cope with minor running repairs such as punctures and brake adjustments.
Please book to guarantee a place. If you have not booked by the day of the ride, please come to the start point to see if there are places available.
NOTE: NOW LEAVING AT 10.30AM.
