2025 LCC Women’s Network Family Ride – Sunday 26 October
The ride is a 5-mile circular route from Marble Arch through Central London, past famous landmarks. Join hundreds of women, children and families celebrating cycling and calling for greater inclusion of women and children.
Feeder ride Route & Return
- Our feeder ride will be fully marshalled, using quiet roads and cycleways where possible, but there will be some busier roads as we approach central London.
- Newham cyclists will be equipped to deal with minor repairs if required.
- Return meeting point: Marble Arch, 14:00.
- Arriving back in Stratford around 15:15–15:30.
- You can ride back with us or take public transport – bikes can be taken on Elizabeth line trains from Bond Street. Also many mainline trains from Liverpool Street stop at Stratford.
- Distance: 21 miles / 34 km total (8 miles into London + 5-mile circular ride + 8 miles return).
- Children: recommended for confident riders accompanied by an adult, as well as younger ones in child seats. You will know best if your child can manage the distance.
- Fancy dress, flags, bells and whistles welcome! Please dress for the weather.
Booking
Please RSVP and register for everyone in your group, including number of children and their ages. This helps us plan marshalling.
