Join local historian and author James Marshall for a slow paced guided ride celebrating the centenary of The Great West Road looking at its history and the ‘golden mile’s’ Art Deco architecture.
The rides are one of a series of events organised to mark the centenary of the inception of the Great West Road and are part of the London Festival of Architecture.
The ride is a ‘must do’ event for anyone interested in local history and architecture. Spaces are limited, so register at the link below!
This will be a slow-paced ride of about 4 miles on cycle tracks with some sections on road therefore participants should be confident cycling with traffic.
We will be stopping regularly when James to talk about the history and architecture of the location.
Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.
