Saturday 5 July: Haringey Architecture Ride

Join us on Saturday 5th July at 10am for a 12-mile marshalled cycle ride exploring architectural highlights across Haringey.
We’ll start at Bluehouse Yard, River Park Road, Wood Green N22 7TB, and finish around 1pm at St Paul’s Church, Wightman Road N4 1RW.
The route through Haringey takes us to see award-winning architecture – from a colourful makers’ yard to a striking postmodern church – with stops at eco-conscious private homes with a strong environmental ethos and larger council-commissioned housing and green infrastructure projects.
Lunch break will take place at the delicious Bloqs cafe by the river Lea. The cafe is run by Marianna, co-founder of Morito in Exmouth Market.
The route has been devised by our members Anke and Michael – both architects – who will be giving a very short commentary at each place of interest we visit.
