Wanstead Park, Valentines Park and Goodmayes Park to Eastbrookend Country Park

A gently paced, family friendly ride to Eastbrookend Country Park.

10.50 from Valentines Park Mansion (15 Miles)
11.30 from Goodmayes Park – Winterbourne Road entrance.(7 Miles)

An ideal opportunity for the less confident rider to build their confidence on the roads with our marshalled group. The pace may be quite slow for some riders, but come along and help encourage more people to get on their bike and explore East London. Our aim is that everyone should enjoy a comfortable ride. Eastbrookend Park has a cafe, play area, lakes and wildlife zones. We will have time to explore the park before returning via Mayesbrook Park and South Park.

Please carry water and any snacks you want. Some will buy from the cafe at Eastbrookend Country Park; some will bring their own picnic. Your choice. If you carry a spare inner tube for your wheel size, we should be able to ensure you easily complete the ride. Before setting out do inflate your tyres fully and check that your brakes work. We want everyone to enjoy a relaxed ride with time and energy to make new friends.
