Wanstead Park to Bruce Castle Museum and Park

A 20 mile, gently paced, sociable return ride to Bruce Castle Museum in Haringey. Children must be accompanied by an adult. This ride is suitable for all abilities of rider and style of bike. The ride is marshalled and we will follow cycle paths and minor roads throughout. In the morning we will have a short visit to the Walthamstow Pump Museum, which should be open on a Sunday. From there we make our way across the Lea Valley through the Walthamstow Wetlands and then over into Tottenham to Bruce Castle Park and Museum. If the weather is kind we should have time to explore this free museum and have a picnic or cafe lunch in the park. You are welcome to bring your own refreshments or buy from the cafe.

A well maintained bike with brakes that work and well inflated tyres will help you to enjoy a relaxed and friendly day out with like minded cyclists.
