Wanstead Park to Eastbrook End Country Park
A slow paced, family friendly, sociable, marshalled ride to the cafe and Discovery Centre in Eastbrookend Country Park. The ride is suitable for novices, all styles of bike and all age groups. Children must be accompanied by an adult. We will pass through Valentines Park, Seven Kings Park and Goodmayes Park on the way to our destination. If you would like to start at any of these locations please email redbridge@lcc.org.uk to ensure you link up with the ride.
At the cafe in the Country Park there will be time for lunch – bring your own, or buy at the cafe. We should also meet cyclists from Havering and from Barking and Dagenham. A chance to talk with cyclists who share common experiences. The return will be similarly slow, sociable and marshalled. Our aim is to ensure everyone enjoys the ride, feels safe and gains more confidence to cycle in and around Redbridge.
