Wanstead Park to Lea Valley White Water Centre

It is a few years now since we last rode to the White Water Centre near Waltham Abbey. It is a challenging ride with many miles on the canal bank. Only suitable therefore for the more adventurous of our riders. Great fun when we get there. (A 35 mile round trip) We will travel at a gentle pace and have lunch at the cafe watching the action. You can also bring your own picnic.
Most bikes are suitable, although narrow racing wheels perhaps not so. Please ensure your bike is in tip-top condition with well inflated tyres and good brakes. We recommend that you carry a spare inner tube for your wheel size.
To book places please scroll down to the RSVP button. If the ride is full email rides@redbridgecycling.org to be placed on a reserve list. We have to limit numbers on this ride because of the canal bank challenges.
