Wanstead Park to Markfield Park

A family friendly ride with a picnic or cafe lunch on Easter Bank Holiday Monday. A great opportunity to get out on the bikes with all the family whatever your experience. We travel at a gentle pace, making it a leisurely and sociable day out. Routes are mostly traffic free and junctions are marshalled. If you would like to set off from Valentines Park to join the main group at Wanstead Park Tea Hut, please email rides@redbridgecycling.org to make arrangements. You can also use the same email address if you have any questions. Please note that all children must be accompanied by an adult.

Please ensure your bikes have fully inflated tyres and brakes that work.

The circular ride should allow time at Markfield Park to eat, play and visit the Beam Museum, which is in ‘steam’ on that day. The cafe could be very busy, so you may wish to bring your own refreshments/picnic.
