Have you ever cycled out east from Redbridge? This 30-mile ride to Rainham marshes RSPB bird reserve and back explores some delightful open spaces in East London. We will leave the Wanstead Park Tea Hut at 10.00a.m. and should be back around 5.00pm. We use cycle paths, parks and quiet roads wherever possible, ensuring safe marshalled crossings of main roads. We travel at a gentle pace and try to ensure everyone has fun. If you would like to start from Valentines Park or Goodmayes Park, please email rides@redbridgecycling.org to make arrangements.

We recommend that you bring a picnic lunch, as the café at the reserve is closed. There is a possible café stop in Rainham Village if you would prefer.

Please ensure your bike is in good roadworthy condition, tyres fully inflated and brakes that work. We recommend that you carry a spare inner tube for your wheel size.

To reserve a place(s) please scroll down to the RSVP button.
