Wanstead Park to the Olympic Park

A family friendly, afternoon ride of 10 miles / 15km with opportunity to explore the main venues at the Olympic Park. We will leave Wanstead Park at 2.00pm and depending on the groups wishes, will have time to ride around the park or spend a little time at one of the playgrounds within the park. Some may just prefer to have a break in one of the cafes. We will return to Wanstead Park between 4.30 and 5.00pm.

The ride will be gently paced and marshalled. It is suitable for all rider abilities and styles of bicycle. We encourage families with children and novices to join these local rides. All children must be accompanied by an adult. If your bike has spent the winter in the shed, it is surely time to get it out, dust it down, pump up the tyres and put a spot of oil in appropriate places. The more bikes are used, the more freely they run!
