Dream Bigger, Be Bolder, Bring Everyone

London Loves Cycling - Please make a donation to help make it possible for everyone.

Please make a donation and help secure the mayor’s commitment to four essential pledges.

Safer streets mean less fear, and more of us choosing to travel by bike. But huge inequalities still exist. Londoners are more likely to cycle if they are male, white, younger, live in higher income households, or live closer to central London.

And millions of us want to cycle but still can’t. Because our streets are still too dangerous; we still feel too vulnerable; or we can’t access a bike.

The time to act is now. By adopting these four pledges London’s mayor can tackle cycling inequalities and barriers head on.

In 2025 LCC will launch a major new phase of campaigning, calling on the Mayor to bring equality to cycling in London.

Your donation will make it possible for LCC to:

Secure long-term funding

These ideas are possible, but they need to be funded. We need to build support for the policies and push the mayor and TfL to ringfence budgets over several years.

Step up lobbying of councils

Individual boroughs pose major barriers to delivering safe cycling. To make cycling safe for everyone, we need to push every council, especially in outer London, to commit to delivering progress.

Skill up local campaigners

Without our dedicated local volunteers, we simply cannot succeed at scale. These people give up their time and we must give them the support they need to deliver safe cycling in every borough.

Deliver a high-impact campaign

In 2025 we’ll deliver a major campaign to bust myths, rebut scaremongering, and make sure our united voices are heard loud and clear.
