The 2017 Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the London Cycling Campaign will take place as follows:
Date: Thursday 19th October
Time: 18:00 - 21:00 (registration from 17:30)
Venue: The Keyworth Centre, London South Bank University, Keyworth Street, London SE1 6NG
KEYNOTE SPEAKER: the Mayor's Walking & Cycling Commissioner, Dr Will Norman
Note that this year we are running a shorter, weekday evening event rather than a full day (Saturday) AGM and Campaigners' Conference.
The AGM is where LCC sets its stall for the year ahead - it's when our new trustees come into post and big decisions are made. As well as hearing from Dr Will Norman and voting on motions, members will be given presentations by staff and trustees on the past year as well as future plans, and will be able to ask questions about these. To cast your vote on motions you’ll need to join LCC or already be an LCC member.
Election to the Board of Trustees
This year we received six nominations for the six vacancies on the Board. The election this year is therefore uncontested, with a ballot unneccesary, and all nominated candidates will become trustees of the London Cycling Campaign (or continue as a trustee in the case of Terry Patterson) as of the AGM on Thursday 19th October.
