There's a buzz about cycling at the moment, and we're in the thick of it
Cycling in London is booming, with 730,000 cycling journey during 2016, an 8.8% increase on the previous year.
Because of our campaigning, the cycling budget has grown from a mere £2 million in 1990, to the £700 million pledged by Mayor Sadiq Kahn over the next 5 years, bringing spending per head almost in line with Dutch levels.
For nearly four decades we’ve been the loudest voice for cycling and cyclists in the capital, vigorously making the positive case for turning London into a ‘cycling city’.
