Lewisham Cyclists Beckenham Place Park Dr Bike
Lewisham Cyclists are running a Dr Bike and cycling information stall in Beckenham Place Park. We will be in the cafe courtyard area with our Dr Bike toolkit, and qualified mechanics offering free bike checks where we will give your bike the once over and tell you if it needs any adjustments, repairs etc to make it safe and serviceable. Some basic fixes also may be possible if you choose, stuff like gear adjustments, brake adjustments, new brake pads fitted. If your bike needs more work than we can provide here, we can advise you on what to do next, what parts might be needed etc. Also, general advice on cycling in Lewisham, London, or beyond. Its first come first served and you don’t have to book, but indicating here if you plan to come gives us an idea of how many to expect. Its best to come early, as this is a popular session and although we are on site till two, if you arrive after 1.15 we may well have to turn you away, if the work you bike needs is more than something quick. And we hate turning folk away!
