London Loves Cycling – Camden Cyclists’ Ride to the Lea Valley

April 28 @ 10:15 am

Family oriented ride to the Lea Valley, through the Olympic Park, along the towpath and back via Finsbury Park.

We will stop for lunch, provisionally at the Markfield Park café. There is plenty of outdoor space if you prefer to bring your own. And the pumping station will be open but not ‘in steam’.

Easy paced 20 miles on (mostly) quiet roads, cycleways and towpath.

The starting and ending point is at the entrance to the cycle route by Hampstead Heath tennis courts, off Highgate Road NW5 1RP, at 10.15 for 10.30 am start. Or you can meet us on the way at the entrance to Caledonian Park off Shearling Way (10:50) or Islington Town Hall on Upper Street N1 2ZE (11:00), just let the leader know by email or text if you plan to do this.

We should be back to Highgate Road by 4:30. The route we’ll probably take is here.

Please register for this ride using the RSVP link below.

If you have any questions about your ride please get in touch with the organiser, John Chamberlain, on 07887 552 391 or by email at john@camdencyclists.org.uk
