May 26 @ 8:45 am

This is the annual big festival of cycling in London, where you can ride around Central London on a closed, traffic free route, seeing the sights and enjoying a range of entertainment en route. We will be taking a feeder ride into Central London from Ealing.

Our feeder ride will assemble at Ealing Town Hall from 8.45am for a 9am departure. Novice cyclists and families with children are especially welcome. We will take you on a quiet route, supported by a group of trained and experienced marshals, into Central London. There you will be free to explore the wonderful traffic-free route around the centre of London at your own pace, stopping off to visit places of interest, have lunch, visit the Cycling Festival sites en route.

You are free to make your own way home whenever you want. We will lead a ride back to Ealing, leaving from an agreed location at around 3pm.

To join your feeder ride, register in advance as a Freecycle participant and select the feeder ride option when prompted. You do not need to sign up separately for the Ealing feeder ride, just turn up at the Town Hall to meet us.

Any queries about the feeder ride, please contact rides@ealingcycling.org.uk

Volunteer to marshal this ride: We need volunteer marshals on all the feeder rides. Experienced trained marshals will support you and show you the ropes. It can be a lot of fun and a great way to get to know cyclists active in your area. To volunteer, email mike.mcsherry@lcc.org.uk with the name of the borough you’d like to volunteer with. There are also training opportunies here.
