Islington feeder ride to Women’s Freedom Ride in Central London
Start from the Boer War Memorial in Highbury Fields near the leisure centre. Meet at 1115 for a 1130 briefing and start. Marshalled ride suitable for families, all ages and abilities – under 18s must be accompanied. We will cycle through quiet back streets to the start of the Women’s Freedom ride in Lincoln’s Inn Fields. There, we will join hundreds of women cyclists and their allies in support of safer cycling for women in London.
Please register for each person in your group so that we know how many to expect.
Pump up your tyres, oil your chain and get ready for a fabulous day out. You can choose to return to Islington with us or make your own way home – it’s not far ! We aim to get back by about 1515. Encourage your friends, your family and your neighbours to join in – there are feeder rides from many boroughs to Central London.
