London Loves Cycling – Ride to Hyde Park from Redbridge

April 27 @ 10:00 am

A gently paced leisure ride to Hyde Park, passing by The Barbican, Westminster, Buckingham Palace, The Tower of London and other iconic sights. Total distance from Wanstead Park is around 30 miles. Lunch next to the Serpentine in Hyde Park – either at the cafe or bring your own food. We welcome people who have always promised they would get back on their bike one day. This could be your day! The ride is suitable for all abilities and all styles of bike. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Please ensure your bike has brakes that work and tyres that are pumped up. Always a good idea to carry a spare inner tube for your wheel size. Marshals will help you with any problems encountered on the day. If you would like to start from near your home, or have any questions please contact the organisers on redbridge@lcc.org.uk. The ride will be marshalled throughout and we use minor roads and designated cycle paths. Explore a quiet route into central London with us for future cycling opportunities. If you have never ridden with a friendly group before, you’ll be surprised how much fun you have and how easy you cover what may seem like a formidable distance.
