The Isabella Plantation is a 40-acre woodland garden set within a Victorian woodland plantation planted in the 1830’s. First opened to the public in 1953, it is best known for its evergreen azaleas, which line the ponds and streams and at their peak of flower in late April and early May.
This is an easy social bike ride of about 15 miles. We will be riding at a leisurely slow pace, approximately 5-7 m/h. Great for any fitness level. Mostly paved surfaces. Suitable for all skill levels. We will visit Isabella Plantation in Richmond Park. Please bring a bike lock. We will lock our bikes outside Isabella Plantation.
THIS is the FIRST of 2 rides, we do 2 so as to ensure seeing the flowering at its best. SO if you miss this one there is another on 11th May.
We expect to be back at Brook Green at about 13:30 pm.
