On the first Saturday of each month, Camden Cycling Campaign in collaboration with local NHS GP practices, are leading a social bike ride.
The ride is a very gentle and short, usually about 6 miles. It is open to any adult to join but we particularly welcome adults who are just coming back to cycling, have recently learned or want to build up confidence. If you are a complete beginner you should get a lesson first from Camden Council (free, see www.camden.gov.uk/cycle-skills-and-bike-maintenance-courses) and then join our rides after you’ve learned the basics. If you are a strong rider then then you may find this ride is too gentle for you, but we welcome stronger riders joining and becoming marshals and ride leaders.
Each month we will go on a different ride but we will always stop for a hot drink and some biscuits and will take about an hour and a half at a moderately easy pace.
Register and book a space below.
Any questions, or if you would like to ask about borrowing a bike for the ride, please email us at ktride@camdencyclists.org.uk. And if your bike needs a check-up, arrive 30 minutes early and we’ll take a look.
