London Loves Cycling – Breeze to Hampton Court Gardens Open Day

This ride is organised by Breeze and is a circular route from West Harrow to Hampton Court Palace to visit the gardens on one of their free open days.

Riders will meet in front of the bike racks outside the cafe (Syd’s Pizzeria & Coffee Shop) in West Harrow Park. There is carpark which can be accessed via Wilson Gardens. Nearest underground station is West Harrow (on the Metropolitan Line) and only a few mins walk away.

Starting from West Harrow Park, riders will ride to Hampton Court passing through Syon park on the way and Osterley Park on the way back.

The majority of the ride is on quiet residential roads, cycle paths and canal towpaths. Although there are a couple of a couple of brief sections on busier roads.

The ride will stop for about 1.5 hour at Hampton Court to visit the gardens and for refreshments. There is a cafe at the palace for refreshments or you may wish to bring some snacks to picnic in the garden.

Please check your bike before the ride paying particular attention to the brakes and tyres. Please wear a helmet, bring a lock, spare innertube, water and a snack (or money to purchase one).
