Kidical Mass London are organising a Kidical Mass ride for kids and their families in London.

IBikeLondon are proud to support the global movement Kidical Mass, with a family friendly ride to celebrate World Car Free day.
We will be bringing our epic bike party back to the streets of central London with a kids disco twist.
THEME: Harvest disco. We’d love it if you’re able to dress up and/or decorate bikes with autumnal colours and disco vibes so that we create a spectacle on the streets!
We’ll be gathering at our usual meeting point on the SouthBank from 10:30, and setting off at 11:00 promptly. The temperature may be hot so make sure to bring something refreshing with you! It may also rain, so bring wet weather clothing too!!
GETTING THERE: You can join one of the local feeder rides into town (more details to follow) or take the train or tube. On Sundays, cycles can be taken by rail (eg Charing Cross, Blackfriars, Waterloo or Waterloo East stations) and on a number of tube lines including the district and circle lines (eg Westminster and Blackfriars stations are step-free). And remember, if you arrive early, you can always go to the Children’s Play Area at https://jubileegardens.org.uk/
ROUTE: For Kidical Mass, we’ll cover a 4.5 mile route, meeting at 10:30am on the Southbank and ending at Hyde Park by the Serpentine.
EXTENDED ROUTE: And for those wanting a longer ride, iBikeLondon will be carrying onto Battersea Park- all welcome, maybe see how you feel about the longer ride on the day.
PLAYLIST: IBikeLondon will keep the atmosphere going with music from our fleet of Disco Bikes. We’ll have plenty of classic young people’s tunes for you to ride along to!
The group ride will be at a relaxed pace, with all ages and abilities welcome! Bring food and drinks – there will be the stop at Hyde Park and then Battersea Park on the longer ride.
This is not a London Cycling Campaign event, the event is organised and promoted by Kidical Mass London.
